I'm about a week and a half overdue on posting this, my bad. :( Anywhoo, when pretty much the whole world was going through the week of horrendous weather we got hit by buckets of rain that then turned into my personal opinion of the worst kind of weather: snow. Kurt and I were down in Valencia when Frazier got hit, I was supposed to be going to my bf's house for a play date. I had to make a pit stop at the DMV first and the weather was out of control, we were soaked just from making two stops and decided it'd be best if we just went home. Good thing we did because not just 5 mins after we got home they closed the freeway due to the snowstorm (for two days). People were sliding all over the place around us, it was insane! That following Saturday it was a bit more sunny than it had been so we took the kids out to Kurts parents to play in the snow.
It took us a good twenty mins more than it should have just trying to get around the traffic. I have NEVER seen sooooo many snow bunnies up here before in my life!! The main street, (yes there is only one main street here) was packed from the freeway exit all the way to kurts parents with cars parked along the road. You would've thought we were Big Bear or Mammoth.
I tried to get a picture of it but it didn't turn out all that great to show just how insanely crowded it was! Looking around you just saw millions of people covering the mountainsides. Maddox and I chose to stay inside where it was warm. Snow is good for one thing: snowboarding. Other than that it makes me CRAZY!
I guess it's a good thing we got the kids snow clothes for Christmas.
