I got a message from Jordan over at MMA yesterday that there was a surprise waiting for me over at her blog! She gave me this little beauty, the Happy 101 award. # This award makes me happy! So here are the rules for accepting this award . . .
1. Copy and Paste the award on your blog.
2. Tell who gave you the award and link to that person's blog.
3. List 10 things that make you happy.
4. Pass the award on to other bloggers and visit their blog to let them know about the award.

The ten things that make me happy in no particular order are:
1. Love & affection- these 2 go hand in hand (picture is from Up, I love that movie and he and his wifes affection)
2. Chocolate- it makes everything better #
3. My children- their smiles, their laughs, their affection, they amaze me
4. Time spent with bestfriends
5. Summertime @ the beach & just plain summer in general
6. Cosmetology- I especially enjoy the makeup aspect
7. Cherry Blossoms, their beautiful! (and daisies can't forget those)
8. DANCE
9. A great pair of heels
10. My beliefs^
I believe everyone deserves to be happy and I would LOVE to hear the ten things that put a smile on your face, so I am passing this award on to all my readers who have not yet had a chance to receive this award! Let's hear your happy thoughts^
First and foremost let me apologize for my lack of wishful wednesday post. My goodness things are starting to get away from me these days! The topic was the Olympics, so considering that I have absolutely no tube with a link to the outside world, my post probably wouldn't have been that interesting anyway...lol. We were asked to highlight an event that we would have liked to actually be there to witness, since I didn't even witness them from my couch I'd have to say the lot of em'. #
There you go, a quickie wednesday. In other news...my sons birthday was today!! YAY! I now am a mother to a 5 yr old, pretty crazy. We had a fabulous day- pictures to come. For now I must catch you all up on my latest award from my girl Ashley over at As a Matter of Opinion. She gave me this rockin Master of Karate and Friendship Award! (I must say I love it!)

I am supposed to list 6 things that I'm a master at and pass it along to 6 bloggers who are masters at friendship blogging.
Things I have mastered: (or feel like I have anyway)
1. Aerobics- OH ya I've got a couple certificates to prove it. Things like kickboxing, turbo kick, bootcamp, P90X (almost- 30 days to go), tae bo, etc.
2. Cooking/Baking- I feel pretty comfortable with any recipe really just don't ask me to make a wedding cake.
3. Dancing- I may be a white girl but I don't dance like one...lol!
4. Never being on time- I'd like to blame this one on the kids. You know what they say...always late but worth the wait. :)
5. Dress Up- I have this down! I change my outfits probably 50 times before I decide on one. Too bad I'm not a quick change artist.
6. Blogging how to's- I'm no custom site girl but I think I know a good many tricks and tips for ya
Ok and this award goes to:
Caroline Shillig
Camryn @ Mean Mommy Academy
Kelsey @ Seattle Smiths
Short Southern Momma
Neely @ Neelys Nothings
There you go Ladies, hope you enjoy your Master award!

I received a new award from Angela over at ShortSouthernMomma, I just love getting awards for my blog! The Honest Scrap award comes with a caveat or two. First, you have to tell your readers ten things about you they may not know, but that are true. Second, you have to tag 10 people with the award. Third, let all the people you've given the award to know that they've gotten it (comment on their blogs or something). And finally, make sure you link back to the person who awarded you.
Ten true things you may not know:
1. I had a heart condition called SVT when I was 9 yrs old. I had to wear heart monitors to school and go through all kinds of tests for about 6 mos before they figured out the problem. When I first had the issue I blacked out at the dinner table. SVT- is basically heart palpitations or your blood going from your heart trying to make it's own path rather than doing what it's supposed to.
2. I make cookies often, I love eating the dough and the cookies fresh from the oven. Once their no longer warm and gooey I lose interest. Baking is one of my fave things to do, it's just good that I have enough willpower to give it away rather than eat it all!
3. My left rib is special and sticks straight out as compared to my right one. Kurts sternum grew outward a bit too so I always tell him we were made for eachother and we match. ^
4. I got married when I was 18. We were engaged for 4 mos. I think we all believe in the playing house version of marriage till we're actually in it. I did ALOT of maturing and learning while married, I'm lucky to have a husband that can adapt to my ever changing personality. Getting married that young is not for everyone and I probably wouldn't encourage it but it's worked out beautifully for us.
5. Before I started dating/marrying Kurt I was very close to going and trying out to be a Raiderette. (not that I like the Raiders) But at the time they had a show about their search and training process and I had decided that's what I'd do. I love to dance and it seemed like a fun thing for me.
6. I was a serious baby about things before I met Kurt. I was terrified of pretty much everything. Rollercoasters, snorkeling, boarding, heights, etc. Funny how things did a 180 and now I'll try anything! Who knew living on the edge is so fun? LOL!
7. My first pregnancy was a nightmare, it's amazing I had more than 1 child! Emmitt was 10 lbs and 22 in long. I had kidney stones and toxemia while pregers. Recovery was a joke, it took a little over a year for me to be fully 100 percent ok again. When they say you can eat for 2....don't believe them! LOL...pretty sure that's where my problems started.
8. I have a serious fascination with Europe. I bought and studied French on CD-roms when I was in highschool. I know I'll go there someday and love it even more. Sometimes I dream of Kurt and I serving a mission there.
9. I love fashion and if I could pick any job in the world I'd want to be a fashion designer. I just don't have the art skills to go along with it.
10. I suffer from anemic issues from time to time. I used to love red meat but I don't really like eating it anymore. So I take some iron supplements to help with my anemia. I find myself wanting fish instead of anything else.
