I've been asked alot lately about the Clarisonic skincare brush. I guess their selling it at Costco now so alot of people are interested in whether or not it really works before they spend the dough. If you've been a follower of mine for a while you'll remember the post I did a while back on the brush. I got it as a gift from my Mom on Christmas, and it was the greatest gift ever!! How I ever washed my face without it is beyond me! I absolutely love it and wouldn't give it away for the world. I highly suggest getting one. It does do all the things it says. I wash my face every night with the brush and I have noticed a HUGE difference in my skins appearance. My pores look smaller and hardly noticeable and my skin is tighter. Younger looking? Yes I'd say so. I use it on the minute setting once a day. It's amazing! For more info on the brush check out my old post here: http://handprintsoftheheart.blogspot.com/2010/01/hollywood-skin.html
Buy it, you'll thank me later.#
RED hot that is. I have always admired Ashley Simpsons hair ever since she went red. Her shade is really pretty. I've secretly wanted to be a redhead since then but haven't had the guts to do it. So this week in school we've been working on color, and my instructor brought in a ton of color to try out on our doll heads. Yesterday I chose a color exactly like Ashley Simpsons to do on my mannequin.
It came out beautifully, and then I strand tested the back of my hair. ^ it! Which brings me to my point in this post.....today I am biting the bullet and going red!! A little scary but I think it'll look awesome, plus my hair pulls red anyway. # I'll be sure and post pictures once all is said and done. Wish me luck!
And remember...."Gentlemen may prefer blondes...but it takes a REAL man to handle a redhead." lol. Goood thing Kurt doesn't really mind what I do to my hair, he says it doesn't matter how you wrap it, the prize is still the same aka me. awwww! %
I'm growing my hair out too, I really miss having long hair and it's been short since I had Alaina. So I plan on growing it out and doing her style cut too, what can I say she's got style.#

Yesterday we did our hair and makeup competition at school. Our class was divided into 4 different teams. The class had already been planning this competition before I started school. So me and the 3 other people that started the same day I did were put together as a group. I'd have to say yesterday has been my favorite day at beauty school so far, it was SO much fun! I was probably laughing the entire day. From 5:30 to 9:30 was the time alotted for making our ideas come to life. Then we had to go downstairs to be judged by the senior class teachers. The school itself is in downtown Burbank, the place to be apparently. It is always crowded! You can see the entire downstairs from out in the street so passersby got quite a show! It was hilarious people were stopping and just watching the "crazy parade" inside. We were all numbered and had to march around the front podium and then line up so the judges could figure out the winner. I was the first to be fully embarrassed. I have to say, I am not shy. I was having an awesome time laughing at myself, so I danced around the podium shaking my ice cream thing and pointing at my rad hairdo for the onlookers. Everyone was cracking up. Whoever heard of a grumpy ice cream cone anyway? lol. Our competitors were all in the emo type category so I thought we had a awesome chance of winning this thing. It came down to me and a girl who was made up like Malificent off of Sleeping Beauty.....she won. :( boo. But hey the newbies won 2nd place!! We showed them! We all got certificates and a Starbucks gift card. It was good fun, and I am so ready for another competition. Getting the stuff off my face was another story....ouch.

Pretty please with a cherry on top. This is Jaeleen, she's my bud in school. She and I were the ones who pretty much put together this entire idea.

I couldn't really smile in this pic the cone wasn't completely on there yet. I promise I was way happier than I look...ha ha.
