The insane asylum. # It's time for some INSANITY! Ya remember almost 2 mos ago I was talking about how excited I was because I ordered the Insanity program....yeah well.....I JUST received it today! HOLY SMOKES! I thought for sure that I had just been screwed over, I filed a dispute with ioffer and paypal to try and get my money back. The tracking number that I had been given had said the same thing this entire time. I ordered and paid for the set a month and a half ago. Talk about snail mail. Don't be discoraged by ioffer though, it really is a good site I've ordered other things from there with no problems at all. Just like it is with ebay you have to be careful. But I got my product so I am a happy camper and excited to start it!! I'll give you all the updates and details as I go. Pretty dang sure no weight will be lost, which is fine because I am not looking to lose any!! I don't need to at all but would like to tone some more and just be in general fit plus the fact that I am just addicted to it...lol. So enough of my chatter....I'm off to the insanity! ^
What is it about first haircuts that take your little babies from baby to toddler just with a snip of the scissors? I realized that it was time to cut Maddoxs hair last week. He had tons of long ones mixed in with shorter hairs, looked like a bad combover lol. Now he looks so much older and MAJORLY handsome, if I do say so myself! # BEFORE:
YES the time has come and we had our VERY first visit from the Tooth Fairy! Emmitt lost his first baby tooth and he was so excited when we told him all about the tooth fairy. Even more excited when he woke up in the morning to find his tooth missing from the cup and money in its place! He came running out of his room shouting to us, "LOOK what the tooth fairy gave me!!!" We made a trip to the store where he bought his sister a toy alligator and himself a toy gun. Apparently a 5 yr old boy can never have too many guns. # It was so sweet whenwe got out of the car at the store because Emmitt told Alaina that he would buy her something. Completely out of nowhere and without anyone asking him to he offered to share his joy with his sister. Put one huge smile on my face to hear him be so sweet. I love this boy! He's starting kindergarten this year....WOW!
I just can't believe how big my baby girl is getting! It blows my mind to look at her, she's gotten so tall and so dang smart. Soon she'll be starting school!! OMG! I love this little girl and I feel so very blessed to have a daughter to do all the girly things with. She loves to dress up, play tea party and barbies. She loves to be my little model and have me do her hair and nails. She is so special to me and she's got Kurt and I wrapped around her little finger. She loves to be rough though too and she can definitely kick a little butt if needs be. She's got quite the spitfire side and the girl can whine!! MY goodness! Her brother is her bestfriend and she tries to do everything he does. She is very difficult when your trying to get pictures of her she is constantly moving!! I have to tell her to sit still over and over again and she gets so frustrated. She's like, "O-K!!" But then as soon as the camera snaps she moves again or I get one of these:
Or this:
Or this one:
LOL! Special child, most of the time I can't stop laughing when I try to take pictures of her.#
"Hey Red, how you doin red?" Compliments of my Dad when we went up to visit my family a couple weeks ago. In these pics my hair is still the copper red, more red brown as of late it is RED red. You'll see in my bridal competition pics soon to come. Anyway yes I am a redhead although thinking of changing it back to brown soon though since my husband isn't a fan of crazy colors, he just likes the natural haircolor. :( Ah well it's fun to change it up anyway.
LOVIN the warm weather that's come in and out lately, just wish it would stay rather than be HOT one day and rainy the next. We had our first family day at the pool here in our complex and it was Maddoxs first time in a pool. He loved it, he was relaxed in his little floatie but after a while tried crawling out of it. He thinks he's a big kid and can roll without it. We have several different pools here in our complex and the kids are loving it! I take them most days while Kurts at work they swim while I get to soak up the sun. Oh how I ^ summer!
These pictures and video were taken about a month ago of Maddox learning to crawl. He would get up on all fours and rock back and forth and push his body up off the floor into a plank position. He crawls now but not like pro baby crawling he looks more like a worm when he does it but he can sure get from one side of the house to the other FAST! He's also pulling himself up into a standing position using furniture as help. He sits up like a pro and I have a feeling either he'll be right on time as Emmitt was with walking at 10 mos or maybe even earlier....we'll see. Yikes!
He kept making these faces when he would talk to me. lol
I am aware that I am incredibly behind on my blogging. Our regualr computer is finally working with the net so the picture upload will go alot faster, so I'll be playing catch up very soon so look for tons of new posts and pictures! Today is the bridal competition in school so I am busy getting ready for that so probably will upload my new posts and pictures tomorrow. ^
Wednesday is here again!! Oh how I love wednesdays, definite Favorite blog days. (Definitely by the wkend) On to our wish for the week:
I wish I hadn't thrown away.....my original caricature from Disneyland.
(sadly i don't even have a picture of it)Sounds silly right?! I know, I can read your thoughts. # When Kurt and I were dating we went to Disneyland together and took the time to have a caricature drawn of us. It came out soooooooo perfect. It wasn't overdone you know where they really cartoon you up. It accented the features that really are accented anyway on our faces. It was a profile drawing of us facing eachother and in the middle was a heart with our names and the date. We LOVED that thing. It signified the start of us, and it was just all around cute. One day, years later, we took it to bed bath and beyond with us to try and find a frame to fit. The drawing was on a very odd size board an figuring out a frame was complicated. So we brought the caricature with us to the store to find just the right size. We found a frame and went out to the car. I'm pretty sure we had Emmitt and maybe Alaina with us, memory is foggy...that's what kids do to you. lol. Anyway I remember it was a rush to get in the car and load everything in. We grabbed the bag and almost left Kurts wallet, got in the car and went home. When we got home I realized the caricature was nowhere to be found. OMG! We call the store and ask if someone found it anywhere they say no. So we drove back out to the store, and we had used a cart from the store next to bed bath beyond. You know when they mix the carts and you can't really tell which ones for which store, ya that was our issue. So anyway we ask that stoe if anyone turned it in, no luck. We searched the lot of carts for it....gone. I was crying on the way home, forever lost was a giant memory. We went back to disneyland a couple months later and got another caricature done, it was AWFUL! No where near as good and looked more like a horrible self portrait. I will always wonder what happened to our picture. Some dumb person probably found it and threw it in the trash.
Ahhhh....memories. Whats something you wish you had never thrown away?? To get in on the action click the wednesday link.^
