This weekend was so much fun! We went to Vegas for my birthday and had a blast! I was super excited to go because we met up with Holly and her hubby! I haven't seen her since I was pregnant with Emmitt so it was nice to catch up! We went to Cirque De Soleil which was completely amazing and definitely worth it! We had so much fun! Thanks to Kurts mom we were able to get some free tickets to different shows and aquariums and she was nice enough to make the trip out to drop off Isaac so we would have someone to watch the kids for us! Thank you so much to them! They made our trip so much more enjoyable! Our friends took tons of great pics so I will post them as soon as I can. Hollys husband is a photographer so we had a chance to get some great pictures! For now here are some pics from shark reef and swimming at the resort!

Eric N' Alexandria

My little brother Eric got married not too long ago back in the beginning of this year. These are pictures of him and his wife Alex. He is now stationed in South Carolina and living there with her on base. They are a really cute couple and are very similar in personality! She is from Texas and they got married out there. I can't wait for them to be able to be stationed in So Cal so that we can see them more!

Nieces

So I realized that I haven't shared too many pics of my extended family. So I would like to post these cute pics of my nieces! These are my brother Travis's girls! They are absolutely adorable, I wish I lived closer to them so I could see them all the time! Everytime I go to my Moms I just squeeze them because they are just so precious!

Designing FUN!!

Oh my goodness I am soooooooooooo excited!!! Today I went and bought paint! You have no idea how long I have been waiting to do this! We're starting with the kids rooms, Kurts not quite ready to take on the huge task of painting the whole rest of the interior! I am so excited though! I love love love decorating! I actually thought seriously about becoming an interior designer before Kurt and I were married. Anyway I bought the colors for Alaina's room and for Emmitts! For Alaina's I am going to do melted chocolate on bottom to chair railing height and foxy pink on top and in between the two colors this white molding! I think it's going to look fabulous! And for Emmitts were doing a deep blue on bottom to about middle and a wide horizontal stripe of deep red. So it'll wind up being red white and blue! It'll match his bedding and the nautical theme throughout the room! Anyway I just wanted to share my joy and excitement on making our home a little more of our own! I will definitely post pics when it's all said and done.

Disneyland with the Neighbors

So we have season passes to Disneyland but because of blackout dates during the high time of summer we couldn't go. For this month we are able to go again and since we were there last time they have a new ride! They just started the submarines again but now it's a Nemo adventure! I was so excited to go and try the ride out, horrible thing is the line was forever long!!! They don't have fastpasses for that ride yet and the wait time was an hour. So we didn't get to ride but we had fun anyway!! Kurt had a partial workday so I rode down with my neighbors and spent most of the day braving it alone. Kurt met us at the end of the day when everyone was pretty much beat and ready to go. Emmitt and Kurt went on two rides together and then we left.
Everytime my neighbors go their daughter gets her face painted, she absolutely loves it! It's so cute to watch her do it she just closes her eyes and gets all relaxed while they paint her face. (She's just four mos older than Emmitt) Anyway her and Emmitt are best buds! We've tried to get Emmitt to paint his face with her before but he was too scared. This time we were successful! He was still scared but he went through with it. He got a dragon and my neighbors girl got her whole face painted like a pretty pink and purple kitty kat!

Alaina was kind of a pain while we were there. She's at the stage where she wants to walk everywhere and do everything on her own. LOL!! Probably the most challenging disney trip for me! I don't know how those Moms do it when they go on their own with 2 or 3 kids!! It's madness I tell ya! LOL!!

Daddys day off

Amazingly enough Kurt actually had a day off yesterday! We were going to make BIG plans and go to Disneyland or something, but we decided relaxation time and play with the kids was a better idea. Kurts always driving when he goes to work so I think on his days off he leans toward alot of "nothing time".

I just went and bought some new hairbows for Alaina, I think she looks like a little cheerleader in these pics or something. I always seem to misplace or lose the little clippies I buy so Walmart is definitely my first option for hair things! LOL!! Typical of me cause I tend to lose my hair things as well!
