Easter Sunday

Happy Late Easter! I hope everyone had a great one! Our Easter was fun filled. Kurts family came out Saturday afternoon to spend the weekend with us. We played games and had pizza. Emmitt loves seeing his grandparents and he adores his uncle Isaac! He has become incredibly vocal and comfortable around family. He kept telling Grandpa To come and play with him or look at this and that, it was very cute! Sunday we woke up to find Easter eggs all over our front yard! It was a nice surprise, our neighbors had dropped them off secretly. We all attended church together and had a really nice sabbath day. We had a variety of music during sacrament that was beautiful and our lessons were very inspiring. We then had a big lunch and shared our Sabbath highlights. After lunch Kurt hid the eggs for Emmitt and Alaina in the backyard. I have never really experienced an egg hunt before so it was really fun for me to watch them find all the egss and get excited. Alaina was very calm and slowly picked up the eggs and put them in her basket. Then she found a BIG one that had some toys in it and she just wanted to open it up and not hunt anymore. Emmitt got a TON of them! He ran around like a Wild man and was incredibly proud of his loot! We finished off the night playing games and chatting! It was fun and nice to have family visiting.
