I didn't know what to call this post so there you go- ☺! I figured it's been a while as usual and decided not to wait for the phone call to update my blog, and just do it! We have been busy busy around here. Kurt is as busy as ever with work, kind of figures since it's mid summer. He had a recent learning experience on fixing our sprinkler system. Our dog Daisy decided to have some fun with the main wires while out there and shot the whole backyard. Handy man Kurt came to the rescue! It's so nice to have a man who will just figure it out and get it done. After a couple hours he had everything reconnected properly and fixed the sprinkler head that the dog also kindly broke.
My gym stuff has picked up and I am very excited to start some of my new classes!! My boxing instructors gym just opened recently here in Yucaipa and I will be starting my new class there on Friday! For all you early birds that will be at 5am.....I know you're probably thinking YOU ARE CRAZY!! And I feel that way every time I think about it, but it'll be fun nevertheless, even if I am the only one there. (Guess I'll just teach myself...lol) I am excited to start it though because it's one of my faves TKB (turbo kickboxing) so I jumped on the opportunity. I was also finally handed over the club boxing class to be my very own at LA Fitness in Redlands, and will be teaching Aqua Fit there soon as well! WHEW! (I'm getting tired just typing it out) As you can tell there's not much down time for me. On top of that I am doing Kurts secretary work. (phone calls, appts, paperwork, etc.) I feel good doing it though I felt awful for him having to suffer thru it all on his own. And I've got my church exercise group which has been lots of fun! Plus Mommy and wife duties.......I think I'm gonna go take a nap now. ;)
Emmitt is starting preschool in September and he is so excited! "Mommy can I go to preschool today please?" That's what he asks me everyday. ☼ He is so full of energy I can't wait for him to go too! ☺ He loves the dog and wants to be outside playing with her all the time. He is hooked on Halo3....thank the hubby for that. Alaina is almost potty trained she is great sometimes and other times she just doesn't feel like it. She cracks me up with the things that come out of her mouth sometimes. She loves to play imaginary die games. She pretends she stabs you and then you have to die then she says oh no...and brings you back to life with her CPR skills. I tried to do it back to her the other day and she just looked at me funny for a minute and yelled No No No, and some gibberish and stabbed me again...LOL! She's a sassy one. She's started to figure out that we can't resist her cuteness. I'll put her down for bed and she'll come walking out a couple minutes later and just puts her hands on her face and smiles and bats her eyes at me. As if to say, "You know you can't deny this pretty face" Makes me laugh every time, and then I try to be stern after I've composed myself. She'll be turning 2 soon!! Time sure does fly. I just love her face in this pic.We have our IUD appt on the 4th (this coming Monday). We've been praying about our decision and we plan on attending the temple this Saturday to help us decide. It's still up in the air we're just going to rely on Heavenly Father about it. Anyway we love you all and hope that everything is well with each and every one of you! ♥

Step Up 2- The Streets
In all honesty I didn't bother to see this sequel in theaters because I thought it'd be pretty lame since they do not have the original people in it. Most of the movie was alright but this last scene blew my mind!! I LOVE IT!! Had to share it...for those of you who haven't seen the movie, rent it or buy it. It's got some AWESOME dance scenes! This last one I just want to memorize and bust it myself. (if only) AMAZING! This video is sort of dark so sorry but the scene itself in the movie is pretty dark.

Lovebirds Tag
(I know you see this pic alot but it's the only wedding pic I have on my computer.)
I was tagged by Ashley to share the juicy details so here goes:
1. Where did you and your husband meet? Well Kurt & I went to church together pretty much my whole life but never officially "met". We knew of eachother but didn't actually KNOW eachother. He's 5 yrs older sooo with that age difference in school years you don't talk to people that much younger. Around senior year I noticed his missionary plaque hanging there after seminary. I was joking around with my gf looking at the plaques and we were saying who we want to come home. I joked with her and told her I wanted Kurt to come back and that he was a cutie. (I'd never even talked to him before this btw) Anyway I had a job at the local grocery store and was stocking shelves when I heard his little sister Eliana yelling to Lark while they approached the doors. I turned to the doors and in walked Kurt. ;) Ohhhh myyyyy!! LOL! He was home from his mission! I was flustered and started thinking do I look ok? I bagged their groceries and his Mom introduced us and reminded Kurt of my family, which I'm pretty sure he couldn't recall at the time.
2. First thing said? Intro's.....Hi I'm Amy....Hi I'm Kurt (something to that effect) Don't you wish it was something juicier?? ;)
3. First date? Ok now this has some conflict....our first date I don't think can qualify as a date per say. May 5th 2002~ He called me up told me a bunch of people from the ward were going to go and if I would like to go with him on this group "date" to see Spiderman. I was excited and said yeah. Now he'd been dating this girl from Valencia, and had just recently broken up with her, which let's be honest I was waiting for! LOL!! Anyway we drive down to Valencia and he explains he's picking this girl up to come with us.....WHAT???? We get to the theater and there were a bunch of us. I end up sitting next to Luke and Kurt sitting next to his ex. AWESOME! (Luke do u remember this? lol) Anyway the movie was good, but obviously not the way I wanted it to go. After Kurt took me home he explained to me that he just wanted to show this girl that he meant it when he told her they could be friends. And that he hated it when couples say that when they break up and it's always a lie, so he wanted to show her that he wasn't lying about it. Whatever right?! LOL!!
So needless to say I always tell people about the date that followed because that was an actual alone date and we went to a dance club in Valencia. It was the BEST!
4. First kiss? May 10th, 2002~ I know I know....you're probably thinking...DANG you move fast! LOL!! Our first official alone date, we had been on several outings with other people and were good friends before we had even started dating. So the wait was killing me! "She's a maneater". We had gone out to the under-age Valencia dance club on our date. We had so much fun. When Kurt dropped me off we said our goodbye's (by this I mean a hug). I was at my door unlocking it when I just thought to myself what are u doing you stupid girl?? I just knew that he wouldn't be the one to make the first move and that I would have to. So just then I say, "HEY...hold on I forgot something" I turned around and layed one on him. *sigh* "Ok you can go now" ;)
5. When "I Love You's" were first said: I added this one myself...I think it's a vital part of a lovebird tag. September 22, 2002~ (My 18th Birthday) After a night of shopping, dinner, and enough cake to feed an army (Kurt had bought the ENTIRE big mtn fudge cake at Black Angus for my bday) that pivotal moment arrived. We we standing outside of my house talking about the next step and where we're heading. (We had broken up just a month prior to, we both had been praying about our relationship, although I felt we should move forward he hadn't received the same answer so we broke up. Sept 11th he realized his mistake and we got back together.) Anyway we were talking about getting married and he said he was scared to make that leap, I then told him that all I thought he needed to know was that I loved him. He then told me that he tries to show me how he feels through his actions but that he knew that I needed to hear it as well. He said, "Amy, I love you." Awwww!!
6. Long or short courtship/engagement? Kurt proposed 2/1/03 and were were married 6/7/03
7. Where did you get engaged? February 1st 2003- I came home from work late and Kurt was there at my house waiting for me. He told me to get changed because he was taking me somewhere. I changed and thinking it was so late we couldn't possibly be going anywhere off the hill I wore slippers. LOL! We got on the freeway and drove forever, all the while I'm wondering what the heck we're doing. We pull up to the L.A temple by this time it's close to midnight. What in the world are we doing at the temple at dark thirty. The guards were closing the gates and Kurt politely asked if we could have just a few mins to walk the grounds. The said ok and we headed towards the doors. We stood in front of the reflection pool hugging. He then began to pour out his heart and got down on one knee. I lost it...I started balling like a baby....I couldn't even see the ring till after I said yes, my eyes were too full of water. Kurt had been at my home while I was at work asking my parents for my hand. Good thing I didn't catch on to the fact that my Mom wouldn't even look at me before we left because she was afraid she'd give it away...thanks Mom. :) Oh and we got a ticket on the way home, we'll never forget that one!
8. Where were you married? Frazier Park, CA in the church building and sealed in the LA temple
9. Where did you go on your honeymoon? We went on an awesome Caribbean cruise!! We flew to Miami, FL where we stayed overnight and played in the beautiful water there. Then we loaded onto our boat the following day. We stopped at Keywest, FL and Cozumel, MX. It was such a fun cruise filled with snorkeling, dancing, karaoke, games, scooters, swimming, shopping, & of course eating! I can't wait to go on another cruise.
10. Where did you make your first home? (added by my friend Johanna)
Our first home was a small one bed/2 bath house in Frazier Park, CA. We like to call it the creature house. It was a 2 story home, that was badly outdated. The counters, and appliances were olive green. The walls were very dark wood paneling, and the carpet was a dark chocolate color. Best price for renting for the space though. The whole upstairs was our bedroom and bath, downstairs- was our kitchen living area and 1/2 bath (looked like a closet) lol. Anyway we call it the creature house because we had several hilarious encounters with bugs, chipmunks, and lizards. We must have had a family of lizards living somewhere underneath our stairs because almost everytime you cam down them there a lizard would be staring at you!
*Funny story- I once had a baby lizard stow away in this cute belt I had. (This is not made up) I went to my Moms to visit for a while, they lived about 5 min away. I had to pee so I headed into the bathroom. As I went to unbuckle my belt, I see something fly out of it. I'm pretty freaked out as I look around to see what in the world that was. Much to my dismay there sat a very tiny baby lizard....OMG..I screamed for my Mom. She came running in, she grabbed a glass and we caught it. We both could not stop laughing after that* Anyway we had a crazy infestation of green flying beetles one night when we went up to go to bed. When we bought our first christmas tree, we set it all up and went to bed. Kurt was thirsty around 11am or so and went down to get a drink. He saw something run by as he was grabbing a glass, he peeked around the corner and found a crazy chipmunk running around in our house...he eventually caught it and put it outside. Sort of sounds like "the money pit" huh or "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation"? What a first home! lol
Ok Now it's time to pass on the tag....soooo Amanda get on it! Also Christine, Nickell, Darcy, Anna, Jayme, Melena, Johanna, & Amber let's hear your juicy lovebird details!

I also just love her laugh when he tickles her. Mind you, this is close to midnight and the girl is wide awake!! LOL!! Our familys been a couple of night owls lately with Kurts long hours.

4th Of July
"Proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free" This song played while the fireworks went off and it was amazing! I love this song, it makes me emotional everytime I hear it. So thankful for our troops and the ones who've passed and layed down their lives for us.
Emmitt and Daddy watchin the show- he liked the blue ones, and the smileys.
We had a terrific 4th of July wkend! We got to spend thursday to sunday together. Thursday we went to the pool and spent time as a family. We also went to the local small theater, and watched Wall-E together. It was such a cute movie! It was really fun to have our first family theater experience together. The kids did great throughout the movie, Alaina just got fussy the last 10 min or so. We went to the park and walked our dog. It was great family time! The kids outside the candy shop
On the fourth we headed up to Big Bear Lake for the festivities. We hit the swim beach and swam around with the kids. Then we walked the village shops, and got some candy for the kids, and yummy gellato ice cream from this cute candy shop. Then we had some pizza from the local shop, and headed for our fireworks spot. We had great seats and sat right on the edge of the lake. The fireworks were right in front of us, it was awesome! The people that sat in front of us had a little dog that Alaina just loved! It was sooo cute watching her. She's such an animal lover.Alaina lovin on the "goggy" (that's how she says it)<
Emmitt in front of the lake
Fourth of July Beauty Queen
We plan on going back next year and staying the whole wkend, and maybe renting a boat! Next Years will be oh so fun!! We got a little taste of how much we could do next year! LOL!

One fish..two fish...red fish..blue fish
POOL TIME!! Yes summer has come and the pool is once again open here in beaumont! We love going to the local pool! The kids LOVE the water. Alaina wasn't too thrilled this time just because she hadn't had a nap and she had just fallen asleep when we got there. Poor thing! But she warmed up to it anyway.

Emmitt & Alainas world
Our busy day with Mommy... We start with breakfast and then we clean up after ourselves by doing the dishes."When we're helping we're happy and we sing as we go, for we love to help Mother, for we all love her so."
Then our princess does her business on the "throne". We've entered the throne stage for her and she does very well! This Miss is easy breezy.
Emmitt likes to keep her entertained while she sits there, they played smell my feet...LOL!! They like to smell eachothers feet and make eew noises. They crack themselves up!
Alainas so excited when she's done, she flushes and waves buh bye to her pee pee. What a big girl! Then it's on to coloring....
We LOVE to color! Sometimes when Mommys not looking we try to draw some pretty wall art for her....who knows why she gets so mad?! We're just trying to bring some color to those white walls.
Now it's time to relax with some Elmo. It's just so exhausting being a kid. We also went to the store, and the gym with Mommy. And helped her make dinner! *yawn* now we're extra tired....goodnight.
