2 tickets to the gunshow

This past weekend Kurt & I were able to spend some fun quality time together. We have been trying to find time to get back down to our home in Beaumont so we could finish cleaning our stuff out. Friday night we had Kailie come over to watch the kids so we could head down. We were originally planning on heading down that night & going dancing w/ our friends from the ward there, staying the night and cleaning the following morning. My gf's daughter Shelby broke out in hives on our way down so they couldn't go out w/ us. Since we were only in Pasadena when they called we decided we'd just wait and drive down in the morning. We still wanted to go on a date night though so Kurt decided to try and find this dance club he'd heard about on the radio that was in Pasadena. It was called Menage and it was in a very nice part of downtown Pasadena where all the outside mall shopping is. We had so much fun dancing the night away and getting some frozen yogurt afterward. Best part about dance clubbing early is it's free! No cover charge if you get there when they open.
The following day we headed back out toward Beaumont around noonish. We stopped off in Valencia where we fixed a flat on our truck, and just enjoyed eachothers company. Then we stopped off at the Ontario Convention Center where they were having a gunshow. Kurt was excited to get in there and see what they had to offer. He played around with some crazy knives and some huge guns! Then we were off to Beaumont where we finished cleaning out our home (sob) and then called up our friends to see if they wanted to make up for the night before and go out. We all went to Chilis for dinner and danced the night away at the Morongo. It was such a fun night and sooooo nice to hang with our friends the Garces'. We decided to drive home that night, or I did anyway (poor Kurt just can't stay awake). Greeted Sunday morning bright and early in FP at 4am!!
After all that adventure sunday was quite a lazy and sleepy day. What a weekend! The only reason I love winter is for weekends like these, where I get to spend lots of time with my bestfriend.
