Christmas

Above pic: Left side of our tree after the kiddos were sleeping.
Despite the lack of pre Christmas cheer, Christmas turned out to be a great one this year! Christmas Eve was a busy one getting things ready for the morning, and making some homemade treats for family/friends. I try to make goodies to give away every year. This year I made some yummy almond brittle, and some cookie jars filled with Cranberry Hootycreek mix. These cookies are ridiculously good, in case you're wondering.

(They were Santa approved.) ;)

My very first homemade almond brittle.

Cranberry Hootycreek mix- you know you want some.

Emmitt was blessed with a dirtbike from Santa this year! He was so dang excited, know he can ride with Dad on his very own.

Since Emmitts bike was right out front for the world to see we decided it'd be best for Santas gift to Alaina to be ready to go too. Alaina got a Disney princess kitchen and she couldn't wait to get cooking for us.

We spent the day checking out our gifts and then headed to my Moms house for a feast! There's nothing like Christmas dinner made by my Mom. It was so very delicious, I actually felt uncomfortably full when we left. There's where the good can be bad, you just keep eating because it's so delicious. Spending time with everyone was the best. Our christmas was definitely one to remember and we hope yours was too! ~xo~

Stockings hung...check!
