Where's my "Happy Due Date"!

How funny is it that I would give anything to be in this cartoon womans position right now?! Yes today is my "due date" but apparently Maddox doesn't think so! What is it with MY boys?? They seem to think to themselves, "always late, but worth the wait Mom." Not cool. :(
Emmitt was a week overdue and the only reason they ended up inducing me when they did is because I called labor and delivery and ripped the nurses head off. Now lo and behold I feel that same experience may just repeat itself. You see, I am not one of those lucky prego girls. The ones who go into labor automatically on their own a few weeks, heck even a few days before their due date. My water does not break on it's own. Nor am I one of those lucky girls who has a compassionate doctor who will help them along. I get the dr's who think it's totally ok for you to continue to wait and let "nature take it's course." You want my personal opinion? Sometimes nature needs a great big shove! ;)
I went to my doctor today and I have no good news to report. Have I made progress? No. Did they strip my membranes? No. Are they going to induce? Not in the near future. Pretty much I was told come back next week and we'll see where your at. (Just the words a tired, 9 month pregnant girl wants to hear) So it's apparent that my boys like to make their own call on when their coming into this world. And you wonder why I have such big babies?! Trust me I try to take matters into my own hands but my body is non respondant to all of those so called on the shelf products that work. Castor oil, black and blue cohosh, spicy food, exercise, sex, etc. You name it I've tried it and it doesn't work. Heaven help me.
