Kids Discovery Museum

Saturday we took the kids down to check out the kids discovery museum in Rancho Mirage. It was so much fun! They have all kinds of cool things for the kids to play with and explore. I heard about it from a friend at church who told me she took her boy down there and it was worth checking it out. Sometimes I get so bored of doing the same thing so it was awesome to check out something new. It was only about a 45 min drive to get there and we had lots of fun. Playing Vet at the kids discovery museum. Even Kurt & I had fun at this museum...as you can tell in this video...lol! They had all kinds of fun stations. They had a vet station which I think was the kids fave, a archaeological station, a gadget station with a ball tube machine, a swirling fan, some magnet thing, a repelling seat. They also had an art section and tons of pretend play ones like pizza parlor, and grocery store, and dress up. It was so cute to see their reactions to everything and so fun for them to be able to touch whatever they wanted and not be in trouble. ☺ The archaeological and vet one were my fave to play w/ the kids at. We spent a good couple hours there then headed out and grabbed some grub on the way home. This rope maze was one of the first exhibits we saw and Emmitt had fun trying to figure it out. I have never heard of kids museums but if I ever hear of one again I'll definitely go check it out.
Later that night Kurt & I went on a little date to the local casino to dance. We like going to their dance club because it's so close by. We left around 9 so the kids were already in bed, the babysitter had it easy all she had to do was sit and watch movies...lol. We danced it up for a couple hrs then grabbed some late night dinner and headed home. I love saturdays like this!♥

That is the coolest place ever. It looks like so much fun. I can't wait till Jordan is older to take her to places like that. I hope Jordan is as cute as your kids. ♥
