Yesterday my children were "watching a movie" in Alainas room, I say the term watching loosely considering that's not what they were doing at all.

My kids have mastered the art of knowing when Mommy is not watching them. As soon as my back is turned they make their move, I can picture them plotting it out like little Mission Impossible agents or something. Their favorite thing as of late, is to sneak into the kitchen and get some food, even though they have JUST had breakfast, lunch, etc. I could hear a little packaging noise so I stop my cleaning to check on them. I walk in to Alainas room to find that my children must think their the next Food Network tv stars what with the plethora of food all over the floor!
Concoction of the day:
Honey Nut cheerio chocolate chip water, served on our plush white carpet.
Of course as soon as I enter the bedroom the kids are suddenly MIA. Alaina hiding in the closet, and Emmitt nowhere to be found. He ran off once he heard me coming. In retrospect I wish I would have snapped a picture of the death by food, it was quite a sight!! Both of them ended their infamous food segment with chore duty of cleaning and some red cheeks.

I know they're little, but they can be so smart! And it's surprising how much of a mess such a small person can make!
The funny thing is I can REMEMBER doing this kind of stuff when I was little. I love reading your blog there are always great little stories. :)
How funny.... I understand from your point of view, it isnt, and Im sure when I am a mother, reading these things will make my face just cringe, but its funny how right now, all I would probably do is laugh...
