Tiny buns of steel

Naptime is a running joke in our home. My children would much rather be spanked 10 times than peacefully go to sleep. Think I'm exaggerating? You'd be wrong. It amazes me that they just don't learn the first time or maybe even the 2nd?? Ok.....how about the 3rd?
They must have tiny buns of steel because it doesn't phase them at all. Sure they cry for the time being and then 5 minutes after you walk away their up and playing around again. It makes me wonder if my kids speak english, or do they have selective hearing?? All I know is naptime is not what it used to be.
