It's official people March 8th is my very first day at Marinello Beauty College. I figured it's been a while and a ton has happened since I last introduced to you my cosmetology dream was finally coming true that I should catch everyone up. # I had filed all the paperwork and things were set for me to attend Flair Beauty College, only one issue....there weren't enough people signed up to make evening classes happen. I waited for 3 mos on the list hoping that it would fill up but it just didn't seem to be happening. So I continued my search what was I looking for? Part time evening classes, a descent tuition rate, and some assistance with the financial.

When I first decided to look into Marinello it scared me a bit. Why? When I called to ask the info they said they have you come in and then give you the information- that just strikes me as a giant "YOU CAN'T AFFORD US" sign!
I knew I would love the school because they are a pretty big name school here in Cali but I was just nervous as to the money issue.

I was surprised to find out that I qualified for a federal pell grant which they estimated to be around 8 thousand. I love pell grants, you don't have to pay them back. It sounded like the perfect school and I was so excited at all they had to offer. They do in house comps where the winners get to go to big events like pre emmys and things like that!! OH my heartstrings!
After filing everything I found out I actually get a grant of close to ten grand!! YESSS! So Marinello here I come!

With school being in Burbank and Kurt working from the Valencia office it just isn't going to work for us to continue to live up here in our small town of Frazier Park. So we have been scouring for something in the Valencia area that will work for us. We found a condo in Canyon Country that most likely will be ours within the next month. It's a big downsize for us considering what we've become accustomed to in the last couple of years but there's always a give and take right?! I'm excited to start this new chapter and also excited to redecorate all over again. lol.

On another note: Alaina took a little tumble off of Emmitts bed the other day, and did somethin to her arm. It's not broken or anything but maybe sprained?? It's very painful for her to lift it very high and she sort of freaks out when you touch it. As a result she's been an extra whiney princess than the normal girl whining. Fun stuff. lol.

That's what has been happening here so that's why my blogging has been kind of off lately, I'm sure once I start school it may even be worse. I will do my best to keep up though because I love blogging and I love all my readers.
